Do you ever get totally overwhelmed when you look at some makeup tutorials and wonder how you are going to get all those steps right? They just go on and on and seem way to complicated.

We have found the solution. The Chic Natural has put together a stunning and very simple tutorial (one of the best we’ve seen) on how to put on glowy, natural, flawless makeup. While they say it’s for beginners, the more experienced amongst us will find it perfect for a natural day look.

Start with a simple eyeshadow look (only two shades), add in some understated chic cat’s eyes and finish with lashes (you can skip the falsies if you are in a hurry).

Like all good makeup artists, you should spend the most time on getting the face right. The key to a flawless finish is blending (and more blending) so that your foundation and concealer just melt into your face. Use a translucent powder to set the base (you’ll hear her talking about baking which has been a pro trick for many years).  Add a little bit of subtle highlighting and contouring for some definition then spray on some fixing mist. 

Finish off with your favourite lip colour. Be on trend with one of the top five colours this season – a modern nude, candy apple, a bright vampy berry, orangey coral or a bright flamingo pink.
