Have you ever looked at some of the new makeup trends and thought - nah, that's just too much work? Well this winter you're in luck. The matchy-matchy monochrome makeup trend was all over the runways. Instead of wearing your usual smoky eye and a red lip, you just choose one colour and wear it all over your face - on eyes, cheeks and lips. It could be a pretty pink, rich burgundy (big on the red carpet), dramatic reds, a toned-down nude look or metallic coppers (also a schleb favourite).

And the best part? You only need one or two multitasking products to get the look.  Co-opt your blusher or bronzer to use as an eyeshadow or use an all-in-one lip crayon (celeb makeup artist, Pat McGrath, uses lipstick) to do your eyes, cheeks and lips in three quick steps.
